Hello SNDA Family,
My name is Shukran Babkir and I am a second-year dental student at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. I am excited to join the SNDA National Executive Board as Director of Regional Coordinators.
I am a Sudanese-American raised in Maryland and a proud graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). I have served in the SNDA local leadership and can’t wait to expand my reach nationally. My main roles include maintaining a line of communication amongst local, regional, and national leadership and acting as Editor in Chief of EMERGE, the SNDA’s semi-annual newsletter. In addition, I shall be responsible for facilitating regional meetings and establishing charters for new chapters.
