Kedu ka i mere? (This means “How are you?” in my native language Igbo)

What better career path is there than a Professional Smile Maker? Greetings, my name is Jamine Ifedi, professionally known as Dr. MBA. I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. Our family is from Nigeria where over 90% of our family members still reside. As a 4th year dental student I am less than 1 year away from creating smiles for a living. God is good! I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve SNDA on the local level for 3 years and now I have the honor to contribute on the national level as the NDA Representative to the Foundation. As the Rep to the Foundation I am tasked with maintaining lines of communication between the SNDA and the NDA Foundation, coordination of the Rites of Passage ceremony, and serving as a chairperson for the Darryl Hawkins Scholarship Program. This COVID pandemic has caught the world off guard and we can’t control everything going on around us, on the other hand one thing we can control is our attitude! Keep smiling and be the change you want to see in the world.
